door county vacation - pc junction

We decided to indulge Owen and take him to a "kids' restaurant" one day. (Not that he asked, but ya know, felt like we should give the kid thing a go.) We discovered PC Junction - the restaurant that delivers the food on a train. Sounded totally cheesy but we figured why not. Well, let me tell you. PC Junction is amazing. It's kitchy and fun and awesome. I knew we were in good hands when there was an outdoor bar selling margaritas and bloody mary's!

Once inside, we got a window seat...

...to the train below!
Check out the kid chowing down! Hilarious! And little Owen in the window above!
So in this picture you can see a part of the horseshoe shaped bar. The train goes around and delivers the kids' orders! So cool. Notice all the root beer and cream soda bottles. The bar was lined with all kids, all chugging from their glass bottles. This is Wisconsin after all!

Outside, there was this huge ridiculously fun play zone in the woods with pedal cars and mazes and climbing things.

An unexpectedly fun time for sure! And then there happennd to be a winery across the street so we stopped in for a tasting and an Italian festival (and bocce of course).
