Owen has been swatting at the animal toys on his play mat! In these photos, I put the rings in his hand, but he holds on tight and pulls them towards his mouth. He did grab the rings once on his own - coincidence or purposeful? I'm not sure!

I love our walks withe the babies in the Pheasant Branch Conservancy! It's so beautiful!

lovely labor day

We had a lovely Labor Day weekend here in Madison. It started Thursday night with having our friends the Beckers over for Owen's first Badger football game! And Saturday we watched Owen's first Carolina football game!

Sunday the weather turned from pouring rain to beautiful, crisp fall. So we headed out to the Taste of Madison festival where we ate our hearts out and tried a bunch of new-to-us restaurants.

Monday Dave golfed with friends while Owen and I went to lunch with a friend at Liliana's. We ended the weekend with a cook out at the Henderson's and saw this on the drive home!
